What Is Sea to Tee?

Sea to Tee is a full-day, golf-by-boat experience designed for groups of four.

You’ll start the morning on the water, cruising together through the Ballard Locks and across Puget Sound before heading to the course for an 18-hole scramble tournament.

It’s a format that keeps the day social, relaxed, and easy to enjoy, whether you’re focused on your game or simply there for the experience.

The Experience

Start on the Water

The day begins at Lake Union, where the group gathers before departing as a guided convoy. Seattle Boat Company leads the route, helping coordinate timing and navigation so everything flows smoothly.

Cruise to Port Orchard

Enjoy a scenic ride through the Locks and into Puget Sound, arriving together at the Port Orchard marina.

Dockside Welcome

Once docked, you’ll have time to enjoy breakfast and coffee before boarding transportation to the course.

18 Holes at McCormick Woods

The tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start, making it approachable for all skill levels and focused on team play.

After the round, the group comes back together for appetizers, awards, and a relaxed close to the day.

Why Sea to Tee Stands Out

Sea to Tee has become a favorite because it brings together two experiences that naturally fit the Pacific Northwest lifestyle: time on the water and time on the course.

The day is structured, but never rushed. You move as a group when it matters, and have space to enjoy each part of the experience along the way.

That balance reflects how Seattle Boat Company approaches events overall, creating opportunities that feel organized, social, and easy to be part of.

Plan Your Team

This event has filled quickly in past seasons, and teams are typically organized in groups of four.

If you’re planning to join, it’s worth coordinating your group early and reserving your spot once registration opens.
