Where can I buy tickets for the Boats Afloat Show?

Test drives aren’t available during the show due to limited space at the docks. If you find a boat you love, our team will be happy to arrange a private test drive for you at a later date that works for your schedule.

Can I arrive at the Boats Afloat show by boat?

No, guest docking isn’t available at the show due to space restrictions. All attendees should plan to arrive by land, using nearby parking or public transit.

Will there be surf gear for sale at the Boats Afloat Show?

Yes! Big Swell Surf Shop will be at the show with a curated selection of the latest wake and watersports gear. It’s a great time to browse and upgrade your on-the-water essentials.

What is the Boats Afloat Show?

The Boats Afloat Show is The Pacific Northwest's biggest in-water boat show, held at South Lake Union. You can tour luxury yachts, performance boats, sailboats, and watersports models all in one place, plus connect with boating experts and gear up for your next adventure.

Is the Boats Afloat show family-friendly?

Yes! The show is open to all ages and is a fun day out for families who love the water. The only exception is VIP Night, which is 21+ only due to state alcohol laws.

Can I buy a boat at the Boats Afloat Show?


 

Absolutely. Many boats on display are available for purchase, and our team can help you start the buying process right at the show.

What should I wear to the Boats Afloat Show?

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, boat-friendly shoes. You’ll be walking docks and stepping aboard vessels, so practical footwear is best. Keep in mind that on the docks you’re more exposed to wind, sun, rain, so layering is a good idea. Our Seattle Boat Company booth will have covered areas.

Is food available at the Boats Afloat Show?
